Kennedy Space Center, FL - The new storybook from Medford author Mari Gayatri Stein will be featured at the world’s largest Astronaut Autograph and Memorabilia Show, held at the Kennedy Space Center on November 6 – 7.

A storybook for all ages, Puddle Moon celebrates the beauty of our childlike nature and reminds us to see the world through innocent eyes. A little girl and her dog, Mumbles, slip out of the house on a rainy summer's night and venture into the wondrous world of the Puddle Moon.

Puddle Moon includes an introduction by Astronaut David Scott, the seventh person to walk on the moon and the first person to drive on the moon. He remained on the lunar surface for 66 hours and 54 minutes, setting a new record. Scott will be signing copies of Puddle Moon at the Kennedy Space Center event.

Now in its third year, the show’s roster boasts more than 35 legendary astronauts and space icons, including at least one astronaut from every Apollo mission and all eight surviving Skylab astronauts. Luminaries include Mercury 7 astronaut Scott Carpenter, Apollo 11 moonwalker Buzz Aldrin, and Apollo 13 astronauts Fred Haise and Jim Lovell. Proceeds from the show benefit the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation (ASF), a non-profit organization that has so far put $3 million in scholarships into the hands of worthy college students.

“The Astronaut Autograph Show gives guests the unique opportunity to meet and interact with American heroes,” said ASF Executive Director Linn LeBlanc. “Nowhere else on Earth will a group of this many space legends gather in the same location at the same time. The weekend promises to inspire guests of all ages.”
