L. R. Heartsong
L.R. HEARTSONG teaches a sensual connection with life, nature, and the Soul of the World. River is the author of The Bones and Breath: A Man’s Guide to Eros, the Sacred Masculine, and the Wild Soul, a field guide to authentic manhood and soul-centered living.
A body-centered therapist and longtime instructor of the healing arts, River has worked with men for twenty years. Much of his focus is upon evolving our notions of masculinity and weaving them into a sustainable, spiritual ecology.
Deeply attuned to soulful nourishment, relationship with place, and sensate perception, he holds that nature is essential to our re-wilding, healing and transformation. River guides others to open their senses and heart to embrace the deep mysterious of soul—celebrating the body as ecstatic resource while exploring what it means to be fully human.
A French-trained chef and backyard beekeeper, he also writes the weekly Soul Artist Journal and hosts the Riverspeak podcast.
Look for him barefoot on the earth, tending the hearth fire at the threshold between worlds. Or perhaps at website Soul Quests
