David Kherdian

David Kherdian is is an internationally known poet, novelist, and memorist, whose work has been published in 14 languages around the world. He has published thirteen volumes in his acclaimed Root River Cycle, consisting of poetry, memoirs, novels and novellas.

He is the author of more than sixty books of fiction, poetry, nonfiction, and children's literature.

He has won the "Newbery Honor Book", "Boston Globe/Horn Book Award", "Lewis Carrol Bookshelf Award", "Jane Addams Peace Award", and has been nominated for the "National Book Award", and "Friend of America Writers Award".

He lives in Chatham, New York.
