Jupiter's
Rings

Balance
from the Inside Out

Howard Schechter, Ph.D.
Howard Schechter's
Jupiter's Ring is a
response to the discomfort and pain so many people are feeling in
our constantly accelerating dot.com times. An often heard complaint
from people everywhere is"my life feels out of balance."
Jupiter's Rings provides an antidote to this malaise. Schechter
offers relief through practical spiritual and psychological guidance.
The theme of the book is that a life in balance flows naturally
out of the condition of internal harmony and can only be achieved
through an inner focused process. All attempts to generate balance
by rearranging the furniture of one's external life will ultimately
prove futile. The nine chapters of Jupiter's Rings constitute discussions
of, and guidance in, the key elements and practices that will produce
internal harmony.
Jupiter's Rings is unique in its fresh formulation and synthesis
of perennial wisdom. It is easily accessible to those beginning
their search for a more balanced life as well as appealing to individuals
further along the path of personal and spiritual growth.
"When daily life is harried and stressful,
Jupiter's Rings provides a clear and comforting oasis
where we can practice and remember that external balance and harmony
can only be achieved through the spiritual sustenance found in inner
work."
Angeles Arrien, author of The Four-Fold Way.
"JUPITER'S RINGS is is a profound and practical text for the "essential curriculum for the 21st century"--cultivating and bringing the fullness of our inner qualities to bear on our chosen work in the world. If we are to prosper individually and collectively in the 21st Century, we must, in Howard Schehter's words, "awaken to Spirit and honor our emotions", integrating them with our more developed physical and mental selfs, and in so doing cultivate the "inner balance" that will give our work in the world the majesty of"Jupiter's Rings". Schechter is a wise and insightful coach for us as he draws from his substantial business consulting experience, his personal spiritual path and psychological knowledge, in a very natural and very self-disclosing style." Winston Franklin, President, Institute of Noetic Sciences
