Mari Gayatri Stein
Mari Gayatri Stein is an author, cartoonist, illustrator and poet whose insightful words and drawings have delighted readers for over thirty years.
Her whimsical illustrations and stories have been published in numerous collaborative book efforts, magazines, newspapers and journals.
She provided the illustrations for the children’s book, Buddy’s Candle, by Dr. Bernie Siegel. Her works are embodiments of love, spirit and heart, doused with humor, irony and hope. She has authored 10 books.
In harmony with her artistic and writing endeavors, Mari has taught Yoga and meditation for two decades.
She lives with her husband and their two canine companions on an organic farm in southern Oregon in the summer, and writes by the sea in Malibu during the winter.
