Michael Sells

Michael SellsMichael Sells, Ph.D. is the John Henry Barrows Professor of Islamic History and Literature in the Divinity School at the University of Chicago. He is the author of seven books and more than sixty articles, most recently Sells coedited and contributed to the forthcoming book The New Crusades: Constructing the Muslim Enemy. Currently, he is completing a book entitled Glossary Link Jihad and Crusade: Religion and Violence after the Cold War. Sells is also the founder and president of the Community of Bosnia Foundation, dedicated to supporting a multireligious Bosnia-Herzegovinia.
